Description

The Soumaya Museum was founded in 1994 by businessman Carlos Slim, who named it after his wife, Soumaya Domit. Its art collection is very extensive, ranging from the fifteenth to the twentieth century. Among the works from Castilla y Leon that houses the museum highlights The Flight into Egypt and The Resurrection, the latter from the Church of San Lazaro de Palencia.
