Description

The Rhode Island School of Art Museum of Art was founded in 1877 in conjunction with the Rhode Island School of Design. Although the museum's collection began with plaster casts and engravings, over time it was expanded through acquisitions and donations of works of art. Among the works from Castilla y León housed in the museum are the Panels from the tomb of Don Beltrán de la Cueva, Duke of Alburquerque, from San Francisco de Cuéllar and Christ in Majesty, from Santa Marta de Tera.
